On Picking New Talent
Every week we get a number of material from comedians who are looking to have us book them. We do our best to keep up, and in some respects the materials separates itself.
We know what we are looking for, but what are you looking for?
Who are the acts that we aren't booking enough? Who are the acts that we aren't booking at all?

Dave Chappelle, Sommore, Bernie Mac, and Honest John are some of my favorites acts.
Lets face it, the chances of Dave Chappelle or Bernie Mac coming to the Punchline are slim based on size of venue. But what happened to Brian Regan and Jim Gaffigan? You haven't had either of them for a few years. Also, how about Eddie Gossling?
I'd like to see Darren Carter and Hal Sparks. And I always love to see Ron White and Craig Shoemaker. I've also seen Karen Mills opening for someone at The Punchline. She was hilarious.
Any chance of getting Jim Norton in from the Opie & Anthony show?
All things being equal, Chappelle might actually be back in the mix.
Regan is only doing concerts, much to our chagrin.
Gaffigan is somebody we were disappointed we didn't get a date with in 2005, though it wasn't for a lack of trying.
Gossling we are exploring as well.
Caroline Rhea!
Jamie,
You and your staff do a fantastic job. Thank You! I would love to see Jeff Dunham, Henry Cho, and Carrot Top.
I was glad to see that Jon Reep is coming to the Punchline in March. I saw his act in Orlando. He's really funny without a lot of vulgar language. I'd even take my mother to see him.
